How to Achieve Streak Free Windows Fast

When it comes to window cleaning in OKC, it can be a bit of a nightmare to live in. The weather in Oklahoma City can make it quite hard to keep your windows fresh and consistent, usually leading to quick cleans that leave big streaks. Trying to keep windows streak free is a constant battle, and without using the professional approach you will probably always have these streaks making your windows look unattractive and dirty!

However, it doesn’t need to be this way. Cleaning any glass, windows included, can be done and remain streak free at the end to provide you with easy to see out of and look at windows. If you are sick of trying to give your windows a little clean yourself without knowing what you should be using, then these basic tips will help you keep your windows streak free in the future.

Distil The Water
Whatever is in the liquid you wash your windows with, glass will show it up. Glass unveils all, and using dirty or hard water will leave your windows looking splashy and dull. Use distilled water to dilute your glass cleaner; as the lack of minerals in distilled water will make the cleaning process much smoother. The streaks that come from your window cleaning is usually a mix of minerals in the water and too much cleaner.

Use Vinegar
If you want to give your windows a proper clean, taking no prisoners along the way, then using vinegar is a must. It’s as of much use to you on your windows as it is on your food, and you can buy huge bottles of vinegar for next to nothing. A 50/50 mix of water/vinegar will be just perfect for getting your windows nice and clean.  It smells pretty heavy, though, so you’ll need to have a cloth over your face unless you enjoy that smell! It’ll wear away eventually though, so don’t think it’s some kind of permanent new “aroma” in your home.

Less Soap, Please!
You might think that the more cleaning product you use, the better, but not with glass. As the first point states, glass shows up everything in the cleaning product used. If you are trying to wipe away a large splat or stain on the window, you only need a little bit of the soap cleaning agent in there! Adding too much to the mix will make a cleaner that will turn your windows into more smudge than glass.
